Description
Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty by Stanley Donwood was exhibited as part of the exhibition CIRCLE (Whistleblower Gallery, May 11 - June 8, 2023). This is a is a mono-print, part of an E.V.* (Edition Varied) of 3, which has been screenprinted in grey and white on hand-made Khadi paper, and hand-finished in copper leaf. 
 
Each print has been numbered by the artist and co-signed by the artist and Master Printer, Lionel Hatred. Numbering, as it would correspond in an Edition Varied, is in Roman numerals (I/III, II/III, III/III).
 
This print has been framed in a wooden box frame with a bronze/brass powder added to the stain which subtly complements the copper on the print.
 
*An Edition Varied (or E.V.) is an edition made on different paper or printed with a different color ink or different use of finishing materials.
