Description
Grand Dame, aka Tiff McGinnis, has produced yet another masterpiece entirely hand and free-machine embroidered. This original artwork has been 6 years in the making and the artist has spent innumerable hours stitching and unstitching the threads that make it to produce an original piece full of history and humour.
 
Grand Dame's background growing up in the deep South of Columbus, Georgia, USA, is reflected on this piece filled with colour and folk influences.
 
Grande Dame is a self-taught multimedia artist. This is her first piece shown at Whistleblower Gallery.
